Conversion Settings

Configurable conversion rate for more accurate KPI reporting

Conversion Settings lets admins customise which interaction statuses are included in the conversion rate calculation. This allows your organisation to build a more accurate picture of real door-to-door conversations, rather than relying solely on raw attempt data.

By default, Ecanvasser calculates your conversion rate using the following formula:

Conversion Rate = (Count of 'Answered' interactions / Count of all interaction attempts) * 100

How to configure your Conversion Rate

  1. Set what counts as a Conversion:
Navigate to the Customize Page in your Ecanvasser Web Application. Select Conversion Settings. You will see a list of your available interaction statuses.

  2. Set what counts as an Attempt:
Toggle ON "Compare against all logged interactions." where you want all interaction attempts to be counted in your Conversion calculation.

  3. Toggle OFF "Compare against all logged interactions." where you only want specific interaction attempts to be counted in your Conversion calculation.
Select the specific statuses you want to include in the conversion rate and
    Save your changes.

  4. Preview your Conversion Rate calculation:
This shows you the updated Conversion calculation formula, based on what you have configured:

Example

An organisation wants to measure conversion based only on meaningful doorstep conversations. They configure the following formula:

Conversion Rate = (All Leads Generated) / (Leads Generated + Not Interested + With Another Supplier) * 100

This filters out unanswered attempts and gives a clearer view of how canvassers are performing in actual conversations.
