📢New List Approval Workflow and UI Enhancements
We’ve introduced a range of new controls and interface updates designed to make the management, approval, and tracking of Lists (Turfs) more streamlined and effective across your organization.
List Status: Pending Approval
A new status, Pending Approval, has been added to help maintain oversight and quality control over canvassing activities.
Restricted Access: Lists marked as Pending Approval are not visible or accessible in the mobile app.
Review Workflow: These lists must be reviewed and explicitly updated to In Progress before they become available to field users.
Permission Setting: Approval Required for List Visibility
A new permission setting called “Approval Required for List Visibility” determines which users require approval before their lists are made visible to others.
Enabled for Role: If a user’s role has this setting enabled, any list they create will automatically default to Pending Approval.
Approval Authority: Only users with this setting disabled have the authority to approve lists and update them to In Progress.
Bulk Status Management
To simplify administrative tasks, you can now bulk update the status of multiple lists at once. Available status options include: Pending Approval, In Progress, and Completed.
Quick Status Switching with Dropdown
Each list now includes a status dropdown, allowing for quick and easy updates to list status directly from the list overview.
Visual Status Indicators
For enhanced usability, we’ve introduced colour-coded labels for list statuses.
These visual cues make it easier to scan and understand list statuses at a glance:
Completed — Blue
In Progress — Green
Pending Approval — Amber
Real-Time Notifications
When there are any lists in Pending Approval, a notification will appear in the top right-hand corner of your dashboard—ensuring you’re always aware and in control of approval workflows.
📢List Object Now Available in the API
We’re pleased to announce that the List object is now fully accessible through the Ecanvasser API. This enhancement gives developers and integration partners more control over list data and better visibility into field operations.

Extracting assignment data for reporting or analytics
