Campaigns operate in all sorts of different ways, and Ecanvasser has different field apps depending on what works best for yours!

Ecanvasser offer two different apps to meet your campaign needs. User logons are the same for both apps, and your campaign may have both, or just one of them enabled.

If in any doubt about which you should be using (if you have access to both), maybe your Campaign Manager left some instructions in the Talking Points of one of the apps? If you're still not certain, best to reach out to a colleague who can advise!

Ecanvasser Walk

This app is built for when you're working off of a dedicated database that your campaign management team has uploaded and prepared on the Ecanvasser dashboard.

You'll be selecting specific People or Houses to canvass, and may have access to the entire database, or just a segment of it.

Walk is perfect for the traditional engagement style in countries used to using political engagement software, and works exactly as you'd expect.

Ecanvasser Go

This isn't based upon a pre-existing database, and your canvasses are aggregated to allow your campaign management team a high level overview of your total engagements.

Of course, you have the opportunity to create individual People if you like, but this is probably the exception.

Go is great for when your data needs allow you the freedom to take that higher level view, or even to complement Ecanvasser Walk for hotspot canvassing.
