Ecanvasser's Go mobile app allows you to track two distinct types of interactions:

  1. Not Interested interactions

  2. Interested interactions

Not Interested Interactions

An "Not Interested" interaction occurs when you attempt to

engage with someone but they are not interested in engaging with you.

Your management team may have advised you on whether these types of interaction attempts need to be track or not.

Where "Not Interested" interactions need to be tracked, use the gamified one second "swipe left" action on the avatar icon OR click on the red "thumbs down" icon to record the interaction attempt:

Interested Interactions

An "Interested" interaction occurs when you attempt to

engage with someone and they are interested in engaging with you.

Your management team may have advise you on precisely what the purpose of the interaction is. For example, it may be to collect survey responses, capture new contact information, track issues.

Speak with your team lead if you have any questions on what information needs to be recorded.

To track an "Interested" interaction, again use the gamified one second "swipe right" action on the avatar icon OR click on the green "thumbs up" icon to start recording the interaction:

Your Interaction Screen

When you have swiped right to start an Interaction, you will see that there are four main sections* plus a FINISH (Android) or SAVE (iOS) option.

Clicking save will end the interaction and allow you to move on to the next person.

The four main sections are:

  1. Issues

  2. Contacts

  3. Ratings

  4. Surveys

*This is subject to configuration as the management team may have disabled some of these options.

Issues

An issue is a topic/subject that a contact has raised with you. It may require some follow up actions by the team. You can track issues and they will populate for the backroom team in the connected dashboard.
Examples of where issues could be raised include:

  • A contact has requested to speak to particular member of the team about an topic of concern

  • An issue has been reported, that a contact has asked that your organization makes a representation on their behalf for, or that needs addressing

  • A contact has requested further follow up information or literature

Issues can be logged as straight forward text.

You may optionally assign a priority (low, medium or high) to an issue where appropriate.

Click Save when you're finished and you will return to the Interaction Screen.

Contacts

You can collect personal data from an Interactions using the Contacts section.
This may be useful when your team are building a contact database from scratch or adding to their existing contact database,

Click Save when you're finished and you will return to the Interaction Screen.

Consent & E-Signatures

When you record contact data within a Contact screen, depending on the account settings regarding data protection and privacy, you may be asked to collect an E-Signature from the person, and record the consent option(s) the person has agreed to as well as the person's signature:

Ratings

The Rating screen allows you to rate an interaction and is based on a 5 point star rating scale. Each star rating has a bespoke meaning that will better inform and guide you on the meaning and relevance of each star rating.

Surveys

Surveys allow you to capture responses from contacts on any topic as set out by your management team. If you have more than one active Survey, you can choose between these in the upper right hand corner.

Once you've selected a Survey, simply click into the individual questions and record the responses for each question.

Click Save when you're finished and you will return to the Interaction Screen.

Should you have any further questions, you can reach out to one of the team at support@ecanvasser.com
