Should your Ecanvasser Walk or Ecanvasser Go Android app suddenly crash, won't open, respond, or work properly, following these common Android troubleshooting methods below to resolve your issue.

Note : After trying each method, check whether the method fixed your issue.

METHOD 1 - RESTART & UPDATE

1. RESTART YOUR PHONE

To restart your phone:

  • Press your phone's power button. On the screen, tap Restart icon.
  • If you don't see "Restart," press your phone's power button for about 30 seconds, until your phone restarts.

2. CHECK FOR ANDROID UPDATES

System updates can bring improvements that could fix your issue.

To check for and install system updates:

  1. Open your phone's Settings app.
  2. Near the bottom, tap System > Advanced > System update. If needed, first tap About phone or About tablet.
  3. You'll see your update status. Follow any steps on the screen.

To see and get updates for your app:

  1. On your phone, open the Google Play Store app .
  2. Tap Menu >  My apps & games.
  3. Apps with available updates are labeled "Update." If an Ecanvasser app update is available, tap Update. 


METHOD 2 - CLEAR THE APP'S CACHE

Clearing cached data can free up needed space by removing temporary files.
This is a short-term solution. Over time, cached data may build up again.

To clear the cache for the app:

  1. Open your phone's Settings app.
  2. Tap Apps & notifications.
  3. Tap the Ecanvasser app. If you don't see it, first tap See all apps or App info.
  4. Tap Storage > Clear cache.


METHOD 3 - CLEAR THE APP'S DATA

Clearing all of an app's data can resolve some issues.
Caution: Any data saved in the app will be erased.

To clear all of an app's data:

  1. Open your phone's Settings app.
  2. Tap Apps & notifications.
  3. Tap the app. If you don't see it, first tap See all apps or App info.
  4. Tap Storage > Clear storage or Clear data > OK.


METHOD 4 - UNINSTALL & REINSTALL THE APP

If problems continue, you can uninstall the app and reinstall again.

Caution: Any data saved in the app will be erased.

  1. Touch and hold the app that you want to uninstall.
  2. To see your options, start dragging the app.
  3. Drag the app to Uninstall at the top of the screen. If you don't see "Uninstall," you can't uninstall the app.
  4. Lift your finger.
  5. Next open the Google Play Store app .
  6. Tap Menu >  My apps & games.
  7. Locate the Ecanvasser app and install the app on your device
