WHAT IS A LOCKED LICENSE?

A Locked License is assigned to a specific user, meaning that this member has access to the Ecanvasser platform at all times. This is recommended for members who need access on an ongoing or regular basis, especially managers or staffers.

WHAT IS A SHARED LICENSE?

A Shared License allows multiple users to access the Ecanvasser platform, based on the number of available shared licenses.

Any non-locked licensed user is eligible to access the platform using a shared license. These licenses are automatically granted based on user activity.

This means that the least active member will be the first to have their license revoked and reassigned to an active member.

HOW MANY USER LICENSES DO I NEED?

The total number of users licenses that you will need is really simple mathematics!

"# of Locked Licenses" + "# of Shared Licenses" = Total User Licenses

First, you should decide on how many members who will need a locked license.
Then, you will need to decide on the maximum number of the remaining members who will be active at any one time. This will be the number of shared licenses that you will need.

IS IT MORE EXPENSIVE TO PURCHASE LOCKED/SHARED LICENSES?

Not at all! The great news is that user licenses are the same price, irrespective of whether it is a locked or shared license, which is exceptional value to you.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON'T HAVE ENOUGH LICENSES?

That is not a problem as you can purchase additional licenses at any time, which is very useful as your team grows in size.
