Your guide to understanding the Buildings feature

Updated over a year ago

Canvassing Apartments or Buildings with multiple units is made easier with the release of the Buildings feature.

What is a Building?

A Building is a location that has multiple units in it. When importing, if everything within the street address is the same other than the unit or floor, these addresses will be combined into a building. You will need to have matched Unit Number as its own field in addition to House Number if you’d like to use this feature.

How can I identify a Building?

A new Building icon indicates a location is part of a building, clicking on it will allow you to view building information such as Access Type, the number of houses and floors, Building Notes, and the ability to add more units.

The Database displays the Building icon while the map displays the number of units within the building.
