Campaign Efforts

Managing engagement campaigns within your organization

Updated over 9 months ago

Campaign efforts are your organization's way of engaging your community.

You can tailor your campaign efforts to your specific needs so it is clear to team members what is required of them.

Analytics data is effort-specific, which means this is an effective way to categorize your different forms of campaigning or contact.

How to Create Your Custom Campaign Effort from a Suggested Campaign

Within the Customize page, select the + CREATE EFFORT button.

This will open a dialog, as in the image below.
There are several suggested campaign effort types available for you to select.

In the example below, we have selected Member Drive as the campaign effort.

The default name of this campaign effort is "Member Drive," and the default description is: "Finding new members in your community. Membership recruitment can be done peer-to-peer, at events, or in the community."

The two-person icon is also set by default for this campaign effort.

You can edit both the campaign effort Name and Description.

Note: The Description is displayed in the mobile app whenever a team member sees the campaign effort name. You can use the description to instruct your team or explain the purpose of your campaign effort.
There is a character limit of 500 characters, which should be more than enough!

When you are satisfied with the name, description and icon, remember to click SAVE!

How can I change the icon for my effort?

That is not a problem. Click on the icon to explore the wide range of icon options that are available to you!

How to Create Your Custom Campaign Effort from a Blank Template

Similar to creating from a suggested campaign, within the Customize page, select the + CREATE EFFORT button.
There are several suggested campaign effort types available for you to select.

At the end of the list is the "Blank Template" option - select this option to create from a blank template.

The campaign effort name and description are blank. So you can edit both the campaign effort Name and Description.

As with above, click on the Effort Icon to choose the most applicable icon for your campaign effort.

When you are content with the name, description and icon, remember to click that SAVE button.

How to View My Campaign Efforts

All your active and archived campaign efforts are viewable via the Campaign Efforts tab on the Customize page:

What other Options are Available?

The options are available to you by clicking on the relevant icon on the Campaign Effort:

What happens when I archive a Campaign Effort?

By archiving a campaign effort, you will be removing this campaign effort as an option for your mobile app users to select when they are logging into the account therefore no further interactions can be recorded within that campaign effort.

Any data that was already recorded for that Campaign Effort is still accessible via the Dashboards and Reports and in any of the campaign effort filter options within the web application.

Is there a limit to how many active Campaign Efforts I can have?

You can have as many campaign efforts are you have currently running as there is no limit to the number of active campaign efforts.

We do recommend that you consider your operations and that your campaign efforts should accurately reflect the number of live or active campaign efforts that you have running.

You always need at least one Campaign Effort but don't worry, the system will alert you if attempt to archive your last active effort!
