With the Zapier Integration, you can send data from Ecanvasser to other systems used in daily operation in order to empower the use of your door-knocking data elsewhere. We want Ecanvasser to be part of the solution that enables your team to succeed.
What does Zapier do? / What is Zapier?
Zapier enables you to connect and integrate thousands of web applications using automated workflows. It's important to understand what the components of the automation are:
A "Zap" is what connects your apps and services together and is made up of triggers and actions. If a Zap is turned on, this means that specific action steps will take place whenever a trigger occurs.
A "Trigger" is the event that starts a Zap. For example, if you want to update HubSpot contacts when a new interaction is recorded, the trigger is "new Interaction in Ecanvasser."
An "Action" is what the Zap performs once the trigger event occurs. For example, if you want to update HubSpot contacts when a new interaction is recorded, the trigger is "update contact in HubSpot."

Linking Ecanvasser with Zapier
Go to the "Integrations" page within your Ecanvasser Web Application
Click on the Zapier tile
3. You will be asked to either Sign Up or log in to an existing Zapier account. A pop-up will then prompt you to input your Zapier login details.
4. From here, you can now view any existing Zaps as well as start to create new ones.
Use Cases
Send Slack channel messages for new Ecanvasser contacts
I want to send a Slack message to my team's channel so I know exactly when a new contact or lead is generated.
Add new 5-star interactions with Ecanvasser to MySQL rows
When a new 5-star interaction is recorded in Ecanvasser, I want new rows created in MySQL so I can grow my database table.
Update HubSpot contacts with new Ecanvasser interactions
I want to store new interaction data collected in Ecanvasser with the corresponding contact in HubSpot.
