Within the Customize App page, you have a number of options to customize and configure your interaction statuses (formerly known as canvass statuses).
There are currently 4 options available to customize your Interaction Statuses:
OPTION 1 - CREATE
By default, we have configured a number of Interaction Statuses to help you get started. However, you can create your own Interaction status to meet your specific need. By adding a description, this will make it clearer to your organizers the meaning of each new status that you create.
You can choose from 11 available colors to associate with each Interaction status.
Any recorded Interactions will appear on the map page as a pin with the color of the interaction status.
OPTION 2 - EDIT
Editing enables you to change the name of a status, modify each status to suit your particular needs. You can also modify the description of each status.
The description is visible within the mobile apps. This gives a better understanding to your organizers about the relevance of each status.
Note: the "Answered" can only be edited, meaning the name of the status and description can be changed, however this status is mandatory and cannot be either deleted or migrated.
OPTION 3 - MIGRATE
The Migrate option allows you to move interactions from one status to another.
We recommend that you use the migrate option before you delete a Status, especially if your team are in actively using the platform.
This will ensure that all of your interaction data is retained.
OPTION 4 - DELETE
You can delete any unnecessary interaction statuses, useful when you want to minimize the interaction screen or when you need to remove a status that has become redundant during your campaign efforts.
If your team has already recorded interaction data, we recommend that you migrate a status before you permanently delete an interaction status.
