Auto-splitting a list allows you to assign an even amount of contacts across the members of your team. This ensures that organizers do not interact with the same contacts multiple times and also that every organizer is assigned an equal number of contacts where possible.
Please note: All occupants of the same house will be assigned to the same list. However, auto-split & assign can not guarantee that contacts will be assigned to a list based on their geographical distance to each other.
How to Auto Split & Assign when creating a list
Create a list in your database & assign the list to a team (For more information on Creating Lists, Please click here)
You will now have the option to Auto Split & Assign your list
Note: Only Static Lists can be auto-split and assigned, the functionality is not available for Dynamic lists.
You will find the created lists in your tab "Lists" on the Database page
The above example shows a list of 75 contacts which has been Auto-Split among a team of 3 members giving each 25 contacts.
How to Auto-split & assign existing lists
To Auto Split & Assign an existing list select the 3 dots beside the list name in your database.
Select Auto Split & Assign.
If the list has been pre-assigned to a team it will be split among this team.
If the List has not been assigned to a team you will be asked to assign the list to a team.

Select Assign
You will now have the option to change the list to a different user or team
The name of the list will not change and can be edited by selecting the pencil icon
